Our goal is to help you shorten the learning curve in your leathercraft. The Leather Life Classroom now does this in two ways.
The Journey . . .
The Leather Life Classroom, just like leatherwork, has been an evolving journey.
It started in 2020 as a closed Facebook group to help reach crafters that couldn’t make it to an in-person class. At that point it was a variety of skills and technique training but not complete projects.
Then in 2021 - 2024 it moved to a platform called Thinkific. Each month there was a step by step project posted for people to work through at their own pace, on their own time. Each month was a new project, 38 different projects in total. While there was tremendous value in each project, the Classroom was missing a key component that we believe helps people learn - interaction with other people as well as feedback from the instructor.
In 2024, The Leather Life Classroom moved to it’s new home on the SKOOL platform where a beautiful community was born! This platform allows us to combine the convenience of online learning with the interaction of in-person classes. The community interaction & support between craftsmen is pretty amazing.
Our goal is to help you shorten the learning curve in your leathercraft. We believe these are two options to help you do that.
