Sheep Skin Applicators - 10 Pack

Sheep skin applicators are my favorite way to apply the finishes that we use in the shop. 

We keep one with our neatsfoot oil that gets re-used (a lot). The trick is to store it on something that won't absorb oil. We use a plastic coffee to-go lid. 

Storing a piece in your antique jar will keep it from drying out & allow you to get more use out of it. 

For finishes like Resolene you can either use a couple times & discard or rinse out and dry to get multiple uses.

2" x 2" pads can be trimmed to desired length using scissors. I prefer to trim them down to anywhere from 1/2" - 3/4". Don't forget to wipe the pad a few times to remove any little hairs.
