Join Joe Meling for a hands-on leathercraft class where you’ll build a plain journal cover from premium natural Hermann Oak leather. This beginner-friendly class is perfect for anyone wanting to learn foundational leatherworking skills in a practical, take-home project. Joe will guide you step-by-step through the process, teaching proper hand sewing techniques and clean edge burnishing so you leave with a professional-looking, heirloom-quality journal cover you can use every day.

All materials are provided, and no prior experience is required. Students will work with high-quality Hermann Oak leather and have the option to personalize their journal cover with stamped initials or a brand for a custom touch. You’re welcome to bring your own tools if you have them, but tools will also be available to use in class.
