In-Person Beginner Tooling Padfolio 2 Day Class | April 24 & 25, 2026 | 9 -4pm Each Day

Take a project from concept to completion in this immersive, two-day class focused on building a fully tooled leather padfolio. With instruction from leather tooling expert Joe Meling, students will work through every step of the process, starting with the very first cut and finishing with a completed padfolio ready to hold notes.

Instruction includes pattern layout, tooling, cutting, edging, burnishing, dyeing, sealing, and sewing. Along the way, participants will gain practical insight into workflow, finishing techniques, and construction methods that translate well to other leather goods projects.
This class is perfect for makers who want a deeper understanding of leathercraft processes while leaving with a functional, professional-quality finished piece.
