Fiebing's antique gel is easy to use on both smooth & tooled leathers to provide a vintage & antiqued look.
I like using this product for an easy one step color process. This pairs well with Tan Kote as a top finish.
This does not work well for a two toned look with a resist. It wants to eat through the resist & create a blotchy look. For that two toned look I prefer the regular paste antique.
I love this for beginner projects or kids projects. Its a very simple & forgiving product to use.
I like to apply this with a scrap of sheep skin & remove excess with the inside of a sock.
