This class will be a well balanced mix of demonstration and hands on. Leave with a finished belt you built. Level of tooling will depend on experience coming into the class.
We will be covering:
- Leather selection
- Straight edging a hide
- Stripping belt blanks
- Measuring for fit
- Skiving ends
- Glueing and sewing liners
- Setting snaps
- Punching holes
- Trimming liners
- Beveling and slicking edges
- Dye and finish work
- And more
You are encouraged to take lots of notes and pictures as needed. There are LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE to provide maximum one on one time and allow for all questions to be answered in depth.
